We as the chosen people of The Most High God are commanded to keep all of His biblical feast days and celebrations. The Lord created us to be a peculiar people, set apart, and designated to let the spirit of God shine through us.

The only way that can happen is that we keep Our Father’s written commandments to us. Christ said that if we love Him we will keep His commandments {from the Old Testament all the way up until now – in the New Testatment – and forevermore}. We must please God by keeping his laws and statues and there’s no other way to truly serve Him.

This is one of the biblical holidays that God’s people (Black/Latino/Native/Islanders) are required to keep as descendants of Abraham “The Father of Faith….”

We will be celebrating the Lord’s biblical high holy day called, “The Feast of Dedication” (aka “Hanukkah” or “The Feast of Lights”). It starts on the evening of November 25th (when it’s dark outside) — biblically that’s when the 26th actually begins.

This comes from scriptures like:
“And the evening and the morning were the first day” (~ Genesis 1).
Evening comes first. Then the daytime follows.

This year, The Sarah Blessing Ministries is celebrating it, from November 26th – December 3rd 2025. * Important Note: A biblical day begins the evening before the calendar date. So “Feast Day 1” (Nov 26) actually starts at sunset on November 25th).

CELEBRATE THE FEAST OF DEDICATION (HANUKKAH), NOT CHRISTMAS

The Feast of Dedication, also known as “Hanukkah” or “The Feast of Lights”, is an Israelite festival as commanded in the Bible (John 10:22-23) where scripture says, “And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.”

The Feast of Dedication celebrates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem following its desecration by foreign rulers. This 8-day festival, established in the second century BC (“before Christ”), honors The Most High God who performed a miracle of the oil (where a small supply lasted for eight days in the temple’s menorah) signifying divine provision and faith.

Every year around wintertime, the (Black) Jews participate in Hanukkah by lighting candles on a menorah, adding one candle each night until all are lit, celebrating the triumph of spiritual light over darkness and religious freedom to honor the Most High God.

Instead of participating in the world’s wicked, demonic Pagan Christmas “hellidays,” we are commanded by the Most High — to leave off those vain traditions and to only follow the one true God.

“Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”
~ Jeremiah 10:1-4

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
~ Colossians 2:8

Beloved Black People of God…. Keeping the laws of the bible is our true heritage and legacy.

Our real holiday, The Feast of Dedication, takes place from November 26th (starting at sunset) until December 3rd (ending at sunset). It’s an 8-day celebration unto the Most High God and rememberance of His goodness towards His chosen people (His melanated nation).

The first day and the last day are to be observed as a Sabbath Day. So…..
DAY 1: November 26th (starting at sunset) until November 27th (at sunset) is a Sabbath
AND
DAY 2: December 2nd (starting at sunset) until December 3rd (at sunset) is a Sabbath

Both November 26th and December 2nd are feast days (which occur in the middle of the week). So we can cook food and heat beverages on those days.

The feast is eight days long, from November 26th through December 3rd on the calendar. Each feast day begins the evening before, because in the Bible a day starts at sunset.

A biblical day begins the evening before the calendar date.

Keep in mind that, “Feast Day 1” (Nov 26th) actually starts at sunset on Nov 25th (at sunset). So the feast ends at sunset on December 3.

FEAST DAY SABBATH RULES
{November 26th (starting at sunset) until November 27th (at sunset) is a Sabbath
AND
December 2nd (starting at sunset) until December 3rd (at sunset) is a Sabbath}

  • No buying\no selling (no shopping)
  • No working (no home projects or doing business)
  • Stay home and spend time with the Lord
(or only gather with other Hebrews keeping the feast)

FEAST DAY RULES
(from November 26th, at sunset, to December 3rd, at sunset)

The purpose of the Lord’s feast days and high holy days are to be in total reverence, gratitude and fellowship with Him. This means our minds and activities need to be “God Focused” during these times. We are to take our attention off of ourselves and put it upon the Most High and honor Him during these biblical holidays.

If you are able to be off from work, or operating your business, then that is what the Lord expects you to do during these feast days.

IDEAS ON HOW TO KEEP THE FEAST OF DEDICATION

  • For each of the 8 Days of the Feast: Light 1 candle, or light 8 candles, to represent the vibe of this holiday (flameless candles are highly recommended for safety)
  • Decorate your home with bright lights or additional warm lights to match the mood of the feast
  • Dress up nicely and celebrate the Lord in style
  • Feast on clean foods, in moderation, according to the book of Leviticus
  • Spend time in gratitude and prayers towards the Lord
  • Giving gifts to your family is optional during this holiday

*Don’t worry about messing up while returning to this feast day commandment. The bible says to rehearse the righteous acts (because God allows us to mess up sometimes while we’re learning to serve Him properly). So, just try til you get it right.

*Disclaimer: Prayerfully and scripturally every effort has been made to properly document and instruct our nation on how to accurately follow the biblical holidays and commandments of the Most High God. However, we are in the continual process of re-learning our forgotten righteous customs and traditions. So, please bear with us. We will promptly correct any discrepancies that we may discover in this journey. And we also encourage you to thoroughly study scripture and seek the Lord’s guidance as well. Shalom and be blessed.*
